Meet Charlie Wrede

June 1, 2026

Meet Charlie Wrede: Turning Data into Meaningful Community Impact. At The Schreiber Research Group (TSRG), research is most powerful when it leads to real-world solutions. As an AmeriCorps VISTA Member, Charlie Wrede helps transform data into actionable insights that strengthen communities and support TSRG's mission to address substance use through evidence-based research and collaboration.

Charlie supports a variety of research and community initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data that informs decision-making and program development. His work helps ensure that TSRG's projects are grounded in evidence, enabling community partners, policymakers, and healthcare organizations to better understand emerging challenges and identify effective solutions.

With a passion for research and problem-solving, Charlie contributes to projects that improve public health outcomes while helping organizations make informed, data-driven decisions. Whether supporting evaluations, organizing information, or identifying trends, he plays an important role in advancing TSRG's commitment to creating healthier, more resilient communities.

As an AmeriCorps VISTA Member, Charlie also focuses on building organizational capacity—developing sustainable systems and resources that continue to benefit communities long after individual projects are complete. His dedication to service reflects the AmeriCorps mission of strengthening organizations so they can create lasting change.

At TSRG, every team member brings unique skills that help bridge the gap between research and action. Charlie's analytical mindset, collaborative approach, and commitment to community impact make him a valuable part of the team.

We're excited to have Charlie on board and look forward to the many ways his work will continue to support TSRG's mission of improving lives through research, collaboration, and innovation.
