Kim Sugar recently retired from 30 years of public health as a program manager from the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment. She has a Master’s Degree in Public Health and is also a Registered Dietitian. She was the program manager for the Pueblo WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition for Women, Infants, and Children for over 23 years. Then became a program manager overseeing health promotion grants including sexual health, opioid prevention, built environment, recycling, healthy food and beverage, tobacco, breastfeeding in workplaces, mental health, and friendly workplaces. Kim has had many years of experience in program management, strategic planning, and budget management. Kim is currently working as a PRN Clinical Dietitian at St. Mary-Corwin in Pueblo and St. Thomas Moore hospital in Canon City and recently started working as a consultant for TSRG. In her spare time, she loves being a grandma, loves fishing and watching the Colorado Avalanche and Pittsburgh Penguins hockey games with her husband, and creates scrapbook albums and greeting cards.
