Community Outreach

TSRG participates in a variety of community outreach efforts

Consulting

Our consulting services include report research and writing, coalition building, and developing strategic planning on how to develop programs, projects and activities to respond to the substance use crisis.

Management

TSRG can provide project and fiscal management expertise to under resourced agencies and create partnerships to pursue collaborative grant-funded projects.

Support

TSRG can provide technical support for developing data dashboards, data reporting, or grant writing support.

Denver Opioid Abatement Council (DOAC) Community Member and Strategic Planning Subcommittee Member (July 2025-present)

Benzodiazepine Action Work Group (BAWG) Founding Member and Work Group Participant (2021 - 2025).

Las Animas School District Substance Abuse Prevention & Intervention Project Funded by the Colorado Trust (June 2023 - May 2024)

SB 21 - 137: TSRG conducted outreach to criminal justice facilities in a 9-county region of Southern Colorado regarding Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) service provision (January 2022 - May 2023). Funded project with Valley-Wide Health Systems and the Rural Recovery Network.

A University of Colorado Office of Research Services (ORS) funded project with the University of Colorado School of Public Affairs (2020-2021)

Challenge School Wellness Week Drug Prevention Programming (2019)

Denver Public Schools Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Evaluator and Data Workgroup Member (2025-present)

Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) in Jails Project Funded by The Pew Charitable Trusts (August 2023 - September 2024)

American Rescue Plan (ARPA) funded project through the Colorado Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Benzodiazepine Action Work Group (BAWG) to develop and facilitate a peer recovery support specialist training (2022 - 2024)

Professional Development Experience (PDE - Summers 2022 - 2024). Host organization: Mandela Washington Fellows, Participants from Djibouti, Zambia and Lesotho.
