Case #032010-0001

Paranormal Investigation - Case #032010-0001
by The Supernatural Research Group

On March 6th, 2010 The Supernatural Research Group conducted an paranormal investigation at a private residence located in Robesonia Pennsylvania.

The client reported the following repeated activity; hearing unexplained sounds, hot and cold spots, objects being moved, sightings of an unexplained black mass which moves freely from the upstairs hallway down to the living room, being touched and strange smells.

The family that lives at this location has been experiencing unexplained activity for nearly ten years and finally decided to try and get to the bottom of what was actually occurring.

Upon arrival at the site we conducted a walk-through with the home owner and took temperature, EMF and humidity and base sound level readings in order to establish a baseline.

TSRG set out to capture any evidence that would validate any of the claims the family has experienced. We used our entire arsenal of equipment during this investigation which included our IR night vision CCTV system with four cameras set up to cover the living room, upstairs hallway, and two bedrooms. We also used a Sony handheld "Nighshot" camcorder, multiple EMF meters, data loggers, multiple digital voice recorders and a full spectrum HD camcorder.

Our team, which consisted of six members, covered the home from top to bottom recording temperature, EMF and sound level reading. We also conducted multiple EVP sessions during the investigation, which lasted approximately seven hours.

Upon reviewing the many hours of video and digital voice recordings, not to mention dozens of digital photos, we were able to capture the following anomalies and are presenting them here for your review.

Baseline Readings:

EMF / TEMP READINGS:

Living Room 71.2 F 0.2 mG - See Note
Dining Room 71.2 F 0.1 mG
Kitchen 71.2 F 0.1 mG
Stairway 71.3 F 0.2 mG
Upstairs Hallway 71.4 F 0.2 mG
Bedroom 1 71.4 F 0.0 mG
Bedroom 2 71.4 F 0.3 mG - See Note
Bedroom 3 71.4 F 0.2 mG
Bathroom 71.4 F 0.2 mG

NOTE: We detected a fixed permanent EMF field in the living room that ranged from 17.0 mG to 53.0 mG. The source of this field was traced to a power line that ran from the homes main electric panel located in the basement to the electric meter base located outside the home. We also discovered a EMF hotspot located inside a closet located in bedroom #2 that ranged between 17.0 and 21.0 mG. The source of this field was determined to be from a A/C power line inside the wall.

Investigation Findings:

While conduction an EVP session in the living room I was taking photos and managed to capter the following photo:

Click the image to see the unaltered full size image.
Notice the light anomaly in the lower left corner of this photo. The photo is in focus and we were not using flashlights during the investigation.

Here is the area in question enlarged. We are unable to come up with an explanation for this anomaly. We do not feel this is lint or dust based on the rate of movement.

This EVP was captured during our first EVP session in the living room. Jim asks the question "What are your names?"

You can hear what sounds like "get out" being said.

This EVP was also captured during the same session in the living room. Jim asks the question "Do you know who we are?"

Again, you can hear what sounds like the words "get out" being whispered.

This EVP was captured during a later session in the living room. Heater, our case manager asks the question "Can you tell us your name?"

You can hear what sounds like the word "No" being whispered.

Most of our investigators had personal experiences during the investigation that night. But since we were unable to document those with hard evidence we are not including them here. We are interested in your thoughts and opinions regarding the evidence we are presenting here. You can send them to us either by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The client has requested that we conduct a second investigation which is scheduled to occur early in April.
